ADNOC prequalification: the gate between registered and invited to bid.
ADNOC approves suppliers product group by product group. A prequalification dossier proves you can actually manufacture or deliver that item. We build it to the requirement, format it to upload as-is, and follow it to a decision.
What prequalification is
After registration, ADNOC assesses whether your company is technically capable of supplying a specific product group: for example a valve type, a pipe specification, a chemical, or an inspection service. Only prequalified suppliers are invited to bid for that group.
What the dossier usually covers
- Manufacturing facilities and capacity, or service capability.
- Product specifications, standards and certifications.
- Quality management (for example ISO 9001) and HSE systems.
- Reference lists and past supply evidence.
- Test reports and third-party approvals where the product group requires them.
Why dossiers come back
Common reasons are documents that don't match the product group's requirement, missing translations, evidence that doesn't prove the specific item, and files named or formatted in a way that makes the reviewer's job harder. Each round of queries adds weeks.
How we work
- Product-group mapping. We match what you make to the right ADNOC product groups.
- Dossier preparation. We prepare and organise the evidence, highlight what matters in each document, and name every file so it uploads to the portal as-is.
- Submission and queries. We submit and answer technical clarifications to a decision.
- For agents and principals. We prepare files for international manufacturers represented by UAE agents.
The approval decision is always ADNOC's. Our job is a file that meets the requirement the first time.
Questions we are asked
Do I need to prequalify for each product?
Prequalification is by product group. A company supplying several product groups prepares evidence for each one.
Can a UAE agent prequalify a foreign manufacturer?
Yes. Many international manufacturers are prequalified through their UAE agent or distributor. The manufacturer's technical evidence is central to the file.
What happens after prequalification?
You can be invited to tenders for that product group. From there, your In-Country Value (ICV) score becomes an important part of how bids are evaluated.
